INVESTMENTS IN CAPITAL

In total volume of investments in fixed assets of 2016  prevail domestic investments, which account for 68% (KZT 146.4 billion) of the total amount, external investment takes 32%, which is 69 billion KZT.

Investments in fixed assetsby types of expenses in 2016 were distributed as follows: 

– the cost of construction and installation works: 154.2 billion tenge (71.6%)

– expenses for the acquisition of machinery and equipment: 45.2 billion tenge (21%)

– other costs: KZT 15.9 billion (7.4%)

In 2016 there is an increase in investment in fixed  assets in agriculture by 2.2 times (KZT 13.3 billion, a share in the total volume of 6.2%), industry by на 109% (KZT 81.3 billion, share of 37.7%), transport and warehousing – 100,8% (68 billion tenge, 31.6% share), real estate operations– 135,2% (KZT 23.6 billion, share 10.9%), noted high growth in the sphere of accommodation and food services  – 8,7 times (3.3 billion tenge, 1.5% share).

Investments in fixed assets in the industry in 2016 amounted to 81.3 billion tenge, providing and increase of 109% compared to 2015, including in the manufacturing industry – 43.3 billion tenge (an increase of 3.8 times), mining and quarrying – 18 billion tenge (139.2% growth), as well as electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning – KZT 13.8 billion and water supply, sewage system, control over collection and distribution waste – 6.2 billion tenge.

The predominant share in the investments in fixed assets in the processing industry in 2016 is occupied by the enterprise  own funds  70,5% (KZT 30.5 billion), further loans of banks– 14,9% (6.4 billion KZT), borrowed funds of non-residents  – 10% (4.3 billion tenge) and other borrowed funds – 4,5% (2 billion tenge).
